A new paper, part of Tomasz Suchan's PhD, was published in Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution.

Based on a phylogenetic study of seven European Chiastocheta species, we show that RAD-sequencing, one of the most popular NGS-based methods, recovers monophylly even in 'difficult' groups, where classical mitochondial markers lacked resolution. Despite that, this method may have inherent problems in establishing evolutionary (phylogenetic) relationships among taxa in the context of species radiations, characterized by strong gene trees incongruence.
